Plantar fasciitis is a complication at the base of the heel’s fibrous tissue. This foot pain usually occurs to a runner. Usually, athlete experience this heel pain for months or even years before it completely heals.

Plantar fasciitis is very painful at the start of running, but it will eventually become painless when you’re already warmed up. However, the pain may be back at the end of the activity, and you may experience worse pain than before, especially when you are not wearing footwear to support your feet.

Ways To Treat Plantar Fasciitis

  1. Treating plantar fasciitis doesn’t guarantee a complete cure, but it is very crucial to protect and lessen the strain on the foot heel.

Is Running Possible If You Have Plantar Fasciitis?

Some runners are persistent in pursuing their career even though it causes them too much pain. Running is still possible even if you have plantar fasciitis. However, running will depend on the severity of the plantar fasciitis. You have to wait patiently if the pain is unbearable until it finally heals.

On the other hand, if you think that you can bear the foot pain, you need to have more endurance to stand it. Apply ice on the affected area after running to lessen the pain.
